No, it doesn't work. Because .RTPatch is copyrighted, I'm not gonna upload its engine for you but I can show you how to get it:
1. Download http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/...dobeUpdate.exe and, using a hexa/file editor, extract the part between offsets 0x001F19C8 and 0x001FA1C7 (both inclusive) to a file called "rtpatch.exe".
2. From nsr-1000-1029-beta.exe (I downloaded it from http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/dlp.cgi?lang=...eta.zip&ref=ps ), extract between 0x0000A668 and 0x0003BC67 to "patchw32.dll".
3. From nsr-1000-1029-beta.exe, extract between 0x0003D000 and 0x028060AA (the end of the file) into "nsr-1000-1029-beta.rtp".

Now you have a stand-alone Windows command line version of .RTPatch v7.0, you can apply any .RTPatch update (those created with v7.0 or below, that is) with "rtpatch PATCH_FILE_NAME" and the option "/ignoremissing" works, too.

Note: Since the beginning, .RTPatch patches (the actual patch data) started with the "K*" signature and ended with the "DKNJ" signature. This makes them very easy to find and extract manually.

Neither CD-2-DVD nor Fileforums allows the redistribution of original game files; the archive you're unable to download contains/would contain a modified filelist anyway.

Ahh, now I think I know what your talking about, shame you didnt link that conversion first as it would have jogged my memory better.

I did that conversion quite a few years ago and had forgotten all about it.
And yes the link is dead on cd-2-dvd.com, thanks for pointing it out, I will fix it tomorrow. (had a few too many drinks to worry about it right now)

However, I have attached that filelist.txt file to this post.

Ok, I am going to have a guess as to what you are doing or have done ..... I presume you have done the conversion from 2 CD's to 1 DVD? If so then yes the update will error on the filelist.txt file, I can't remember why though?
So what you do is install the game from the converted DVD, then copy the attached filelist.txt file to wherever you installed the game, overwrite the filelist.txt file which is already in the install folder.
Then run the 1.0.0.0 -> 1.0.2.9 patch file. It 'should' work.
