4gb on an x64 os or in a 32bit os?

from your screenshot it seems that you have only 1 gb of physical memory:

memory used for compression: 451mb
dictionary: ~ 400mb

try to decrement the amount of RAM used for decompression:

-mx -ld200m or -mx -ld400m

But won't it affect to the size of ARC?
