Don't UNderstand the method........ for DVD ripping

Can any body do a detailed explain on hoe to rip DVD to CD's?
I am new to this so i don't understand the method that people shared....

i think your talking about dvd movies, not games in that case you have to convert them to vcd or divx format, there is a large number of detailed sites around (so look ) but warning it can take around 8 hours to convert to this format, you might as well download them form the net if you have high speed cable (imesh is good).
