Info: X3 Terran Conflict 2.1 (tages update)

I installed everything from scratch with the 2.1 update
I have no problem with 2.1 with X3TC.exe and dvm.dll from 2.0...
also in main menu i see 2.1
But i do not see treasure hunter missions for now... generally works

I play on Win7 x64 and i can not have vIDE in this time... I must wait for update :/

Download 2.1 patch and install it. Use Daemon Tools lite latest edition and YASU tools also latest version and works perfectly. I started treasure hunt mission today. Good luck playing .

Well could you explain what did you do? Do you use YASU correctly, did you copy it in DaemonTools folder and started it?

So ya, doesn't work for me either. Tried it with DT Lite 4.304 and YASU 1.6... tried also with DT Pro 4.304... (sooooo, is YASU 1.6 the newest version? Couldn't find a newer one...)
I understand Egosoft's policy with stopping piracy at the start but... come on, all that could be pirated has already been pirated :P

Actually my mistake, the DT Pro version I used was 4.305, and from what I'm reading about YASU if it isn't integrated into DT yet then it might be incompatible with the newest DT version yet... and since stuff changed with DT I can't use older versions -_-

Ok here is what i got and it works: YASU v1.6.9040 + DAEMONT Tools Lite v 4.30.3.0 + Windows xp proffesional service pack 2

Try with this versions and tell me does it work pls.

Nope :/ Didn't work either... BUT, the problem might be the game image I've made... I have it in MDS MDF... I could try converting it to ISO or something... What image are you using?

Hi! I think I found a solution, it's strange but it works for me.
As usual, after having installed the game and the 2.1 patch, mount the image of the game in the virtual DVD player with daemon tools, then open it and go to: Data folder and double click on X3TC.exe. It may work.

Well, sounds like a nice idea, it even works....... but the game runs from the image, which has the basic version (1.01)... soooooo that plan doesn't really work. :P
Was a nice try tho... and sounded a lot less insane than the working way (20 instances) :P.
