Don't use WinAce or any other program than makecab.exe, other programs adds files into cab in alphabetic order when installer needs files packed into cab in same order as file sequence indicates in msi. So what mondragon provided makecab + ddf (settings for makecab and correct fileorder) is only way to repack these files.
Most programs like WinAce can't compress files into cab same way as makecab and there might be problems with installer and fileorder/crc problems for some files. Can't remember filesize but it will fit to dvd5 after recompressing
