also @r4rishi - do NOT make duplicate posts of the same thing in different areas... looks like a direct x issue, try reinstalling / updating direct x, ensure you have the latest video drivers, and that the game actually supports your video card... also, does the same issue happen when you use the original exe and the original disk? if not, what crack are you using?
