Btw, I installed proper patches adjusted to my Collector Edition game version (East Europe) from 1.1, 1.1-1.2, etc. to 1.5-1.6 for hu/pl languages.
Exe's files doesn't change. it's always 1.0.0.27, no matter which patch was installed. Besides , what is strange, readme's 1.1, 1.2 to 1.6 files (contains patch changes) are placed in c:\widnows\

that sort of implies that your update didn't work...
are you sure you updated it and it was successful?? and that before the update you restored the original exe?
