the crack is only meant to be used with the quartex release, it wonīt work on retail...
itīs a cracked activemark i think.

Thanks for the info.  This makes sense. I will stick to making use of my original DVD for the moment. If anyone finds a no-dvd crack for the retail version, please do give me a shout.
