Well you should have done what I did, dual booted one x32 the other x64. best of both worlds :P

And btw, x64 isnt supported with DSO.

Theres not a single game that has Windows XP x64 written on the box as supported so that doesnt impress me.

a new Darkstar one crack fix just hit the net, it says it is reloaded, but I am not sure of it's authenticity. I will test it out and report back here.

Correct it is working.


But I cant seem to upload any binary data at the moment, my ISP seems to be acting weird. Will upload to GCW when I get the chance.

yes appearantly it uses ppf-o-matic to patch the image, keeping ALL english features and still fooling the game to think it is german (I know this cause I crashed and got the german report screen). I don't know where GCW stands on ppf files, but this very format is also used in mods for halo. So far it has worked splendid with me, working with my own image of the game, and it fixed the high prices. Question that stands now is will it work with a mini image?. Currently I am just happy to be able to play the game.

The PPF file can only be used on the pirated ISO image of the game so there's no point in uploading that to GCW... Upload the proper no-CD EXE instead.

The developers have quoted that the game will not support x64 anyways in any form.
