I wonder why a cracking group hasn't released a no-cd for the 1.11 patch of this game. The game seems pretty popular, and it was on the top 10 bestselling games list for a few weeks.

Shame though. Such a polished games deserves some attention from the no-cd wizards. I've got about 12 games on my PC right now, and switching CD's every time I switch what I'm playing is driving me batty!

... strange days.

Because complete removal of the copy protection is better than only the circumvention of it.

Thanks Joe,

but i am pretty sure, that users like Vel, zwiebel and others were not aware of this circumvention.
Just gave them the hint

Anyhow, the CureRom shortcut is as good as a NOCD,
cause you only need the mini-image mounted.
Thats a good start at least...

Thanks again,
Juergen

I can't speak for everyone, but using mini-images is just as annoying as swapping cd's, so I don't really consider it a solution.

Okey, you might call me stupid, but I got a problem. In my stupidity I managed to overwrite the original .exe file for Titan Quest without making a backup of the file. I don't want to re-install the game because of my saved games, or if there is a way to backup could you please tell me. Or it would work if any of you had the original .exe file and uploaded it to a ftp, I hope this would cure the disease of the game crashing when I try to start my level 20, 18 and 14 Char.

I don't call you stupid but I call your attention to the forum rules! (E.g. install the game on another PC, get the original files, and uninstall it.)

Backup your \Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest directory and reinstall game to get the original EXE.
Or go to http://tq.demortex.com/index.htm and get SoulSeekkor's TQ Defiler to backup your char.
