Button Trick
Sorry, I've been away. I tried it both ways and nothing happened. I try to explain what I have in my system.
X-Box 1.6b X3 chip 200 Gig hd front panel (can't remember what its called) Is there some other way to do this. Thanks

Hmmm seems as if the guy that installed it made sure it always boots with chip on. See if you can find some switch somewhere.
Only other way is to either open the box yourself and take a look or ask the guy that installed it for you how it was installed. That frontpanel you talk about, let me guess its one of these: http://www.chipper.se/images/large/w...ket_02_LRG.jpg
