I was always wondering, how do they get SDAPI? Since its something that needs to be implemented by the developers, and yet the producers are the guys who take care of copy protection. So pretty much the producers pay the developers to put SDAPI into their code??

I have dl te patch no-cd japan version but when i rename the nfsMW.exe to speed.exe it doesn't work on a french version ...

But when it's named nfsMW.exe it work fine ?!

I have try with "NEED.FOR.SPEED.MOST.WANTED.V1.3.NODVD.CRACK-VW.rar" It does'nt work ...

Why ??

Is it possible to patch the french speed.exe ???

I think they just buy the whole crap from Macrovision and then decide if they should implement sdapi or not

I didn't say that they were unprotected, I said that they made it easy to crack by DEV cuz the games were not using SD to the max and second, I DO know what the f_ck I'm talking about

I don't know why the new crack by VOLKSWAGEN (VW) does not work for you, haven't downloaded and tried it yet! But there is another way for playing the game without DVD!

1. Download one of the two FIXED MAXI-IMAGES from GCW.
2. Mount the image in "Alcohol120% (V. 1.9.5.3105)".
3. Use "SafeDisc 4 Hider V. 1.1" or "SafeDisc 4 Blocker" (can be found @ GCW!) for hiding all virtual drives, so that the copy protection does not notice the emulation.
4. Start the game and have fun!

I used "SafeDisc 4 Hider V. 1.1" on NFSMW 1.3 and it works fine!

I know this way, i use it now but i prefer a fixed exe ...

It does'nt work when it is named speed.exe but when it is named nfsMW.exe it work nice ? strange no ?

Have you tried setting the .exe to Win2000 compatibility?

The Japanese cracked exe works fine, you just have to install patch 1.3 as well. I've noticed that game performance suffered without the 1.3 patch using the cracked exe.

Note that in order to get the Japanese exe to work, you HAVE to set its compatibility to Windows 2000 if you have Windows XP or 2003, otherwise it just crashes. To set windows 2000 compatibility mode, right click on the exe and go to properties-> compatibility tab, check "Run the program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows 2000" in the pull-down menu

The VW cracked exe works as well (haven't tried it much) and doesn't need windows 2000 compatibility mode

The subtitles appear because of the 1.3 patch. To remove them, just rename or delete the SUBTITLES folder and they'll be gone

Whit the same .exe ...

When it is named nfsMW.exe it work fine without compatibility mode ...

But when it is named speed.exe it work only with the compatibily mode ...

I will propose a french no-cd (I have made the hexa modification my self in the french exe and it work whit compatibility mode) ...

Do you really think Activision will 2 top release with out using SD4 to the max as you saying.I dont think saw.
SD4 IF MORE SIMPLER PROTECTION THAN STARFORCE AND TAGES and its up only to the crack groups to crack SD4 game or not!!.

I have been using these forums for many years, (a lot more than the 2004 suggests) and I also know 'Bytemare' has been a member here for many many years and in that time I have never known 'Bytemare' to talk shit!!!
