You probably installed it wrongly.
Make sure one is master and one is slave, check the pins at the back of the drive. Or perhaps the drive itself isnt working right and causing the other/s to fail. How many drives do you have and on what IDE channels are they on? |

I think if I would have installed it wrongly it wouldn´t work neither on Windows 98 nor on my 2nd Win XP, but it does. I already checked that. All drives work properly on my 2nd Win XP.
I think, that this hiding software is the cause. But I don`t know how I can force it to show my drives again. Or to get rid of the software, if that would help. |
