Yep matey, but you can also do em for safedisc DVD's, in case you haven't noticed...

And they would be useful for CD's, if you don't have a DVD version of the game out.

Its hard to make a maxi image for a safedisc CD because it checks random sectors of the disc, so you gotta now what areas it checks for, leave those intact, and 00 the rest.
