I had same problem.Try update Audigy drivers, if you have SB Audigy card, this game don't run with some old drivers.Read readme.rtf.

I think, I have a nvidia soundcard...I doesn't really know that

should I update my driver too?

Strange, never seen an nvidia soundcard...
i guess he means nforce onboard soundchip ? Updating drivers is always good, if there are newer ones

you're right - seems to be a problem with creative (especially audigy) soundcards

the nforce driver isn't working I have loaded a new nforce AMD driver, but now doesn't my audigy working

Nforce AMD driver isnt for the soundcard etc..

Goto nvidia.com and get the latest nforce drivers from there.
