help! backup for jap ps2 with 8-wire mod chip

i'm not very sure what kind chip i have, i know it has 8 wires.

I have a sony cd-rw crx140E and i called goldenhawk, they told me if the all those can display under CD READER, then it should be fine.

i tried to backup the Street fighter ex3, i actually tried many different settings for CDRWin. when i was copying to HD, i had Raw checked, error recovery set to abort(also set to ignor once too), Jitter correction and subcode analysis set to auto. read retry count set to 0 (also set to 10 once too). data speed and audio speed all to 1X.

Then i used paradox universal patcher, to patch the bin file. after that have failed, i tried to download the patchter from megagames.com. and was still unsuccessfull. i did realize one problem with the CDRWin though, when i tried to record the cd, i can't choose Raw mode, it tells me "unable to set disc parameters". do i really have to set it at Raw Mode?

I have already threw away at least 20 cd-r s already. i really appreciate your help though, but this thing is really driving me crazy.
