help! backup for jap ps2 with 8-wire mod chip

i tried to use CDRWin to create an image, and the patcher you told me before to creat a .ppf file. then i burn them back to cd, but it still didn't work. can you think of anything i did wrong? or do i really need to use Verbatim CD-R or something like it to do the job? i just used a 700mb Imation CD-R, do you think that's the problem?
