Diner Dash Help!!!

Hello, I am new to this board and I just wanted to say Hi and that this seems like a really nice group of people. I too am playing diner dash and I am stuck on level 8 of the second restaurant which is all businesswomen. I have tried everything and I can't seem to get past a little over 3000 points. I would appreciate it if anyone who has mastered this level could give me some pointers. I have tried many different strategies and I am so frustrated but I cant stop this game its very addictive! Thank you so much! After I read all of your advice, I was able to not only get past level 8 of restaurant 2 I am almost finished with my 3rd restaurant. I am stuck on a level again, but at least now I think there is hope.Definitely chaining and color bonuses are critical. If you don't keep the people in line happy you just cant win because so much is deducted. I will keep trying and thanks again for your help! Fluteteacher

Okay i am stuck on this level..restaurant 5 level 9. I have tried the grouping .. chaining filling all the tables filling only 4 a time making sure every one is happy .. not loosing a table.. and I can only get 12,320 for a score and I need 20,000 and OMG if what i read is true i am gonna need help for the last level as well lol please please please help me .. thank you

OMG I am such a dingbat.. I did not know that you can chain with giving bills and cleaning dishes.. I am finally done the game and now I am going to go back and get expert on all the levels. What I ended up doing was seating the women like it was posted.. then the young guys to older guys but I also left all the tables dirty and just waited till I had 12 tables to clear the multiplier was really high by time I was done cleaning all 12 tables.. I even lost 4 tables in the final level and still even beat the expert score.. thanks to all who had posted and helped me and others out.

hi guys, thanks for the info. sail thru res 3 till level 7.... can't get high scores even though i did not miss out anybody...
anyway, i jus realise that when you collect bill from the last person and went on to clear the plates from all the tables, there won't be enough time to clear all... the "restuarant closing" wordings will flick out the the bill comes on...
so how did you manage to cleat 12 tables at one time??
enlighten me...

HI there, I think you directed your question to someone else but I just had to chime in, I would never, ever seat and serve 12 tables at once, I finished the entire game by seating only four tables at a time and keeping everyone in the line happy at all times so I didnt lose any customers. I am sure that you could do six but I have a touch pad not a regular mouse so I have to go a little slower than most. Point is, you can win this game if you are patient, Keep an eye on the hearts at all time. If you read my other posts in this thread it states what I did to win the game and believe me I was stuck at restaurant 2 level 8 for days and I almost gave up until I came here. I too was clearing the dishes right after paying the bill and not chaining correctly. That was losing me big points and I suspect that could be happening to others. Snacks give big points but only do them if you have plenty of time. Its not worth the points a snack gives you if it costs you a customer in line Also, seat in the order of speed. Businesswomen, little girls, hotshots, college boys and seniors. If you have all seniors at the end of your turn, you can take your time an chain big points. Color bonuses are important too in the high levels. I really wish you all luck and when you get to the last restaurant you will have 4 arms to work with and the game gets crazy fun~ I hope they make a sequel with desserts and other things. thanks for the tips flute. i'm now stuck at res 4 level 9.... will keep in mind about wat you said... but the first few ppl who turn up are always elderly and college boys... so jus keep them in the line and seat the business women and young gals?

i'm now at res 5!!! level 3... its fun working with 4 hands, but things gets faster... still in the midst of getting through this level.
it really works to serve 4 tables at a time...

I had been stuck on the 4th level of the 3rd restaurant, but found this site through a google search and read all of everybody's tips and comments, and immediately went back and did the 4th and 5th level quite successfully! I've been addicted to this game for several weeks now...

I have seen the 4 hands option. I have started doing endless shift some and have gotten the shoes etc. but can you use those in Flo's other restaurants.

Hi Debris no problem at all. I know what you mean about the first few people showing up in line are seniors and the young boys but it is totally ok to skip them and wait for the businesswomen and girls to show up in line. Just pick and choose who you want to seat but only seat 4 tables at a time. I suppose 6 would work too if you are fast but I found 4 works best for me and when I get to the end I have a huge line of Seniors and this is when I will really go for it and seat all that I can and go for color bonuses and huge chaining scores. I give the seniors snacks and build alot of points with that huge chain at the end. They are very patient in line and in the seats. As far as that line goes remember that customers can line up all the way to the back of the door with the closed sign up and as long as you are standing at that podium and keeping the hearts full they can sit there all night if you kept doing it. I have tried this and tested my theory and the game will not end until you get each person out of line. Pretty cool! I hope I am explaining this clearly. I have been able to get an expert score on every single level of this game now so I am pretty certain that my methods are effective and I am not a super fast moving gamer so have fun and use good strategy and you will have this game licked in no time. Also if anyone is interested if you could download a game called DIGBYS DONUTS it is really difficult and I think if you like Diner Dash you will like Digbys. It is really hard in the franchise mode on the last 6 levels. I would love to hear if anyone has any hints or tips for this game. I posted about this in another thread but no one has responded.
