well i can't find any 1.5 or 1.4 vesion of xbox...ony 1.6 so i ask you:

if a get an xbox with an x-ecuter 3 chip that supports 1.6 version.wll my xbox be as it's an 1.5?

There is no difference between what you can do with a 1-1.5 after the chip is installed. But, there is a hardware difference. Like it doesn't have a tsop, so you cannot flash any onboard bios. It has some kind of problem with the kernal and memory, or something like that. So you need 1.6 bios, any bios that is not compatible with 1.6 have a high chance of messing up your xbox hardware and making it unplayable, perminately.

THere may be a few more wires to solder, but functionality is the exact same. Oh yah, and you might get a crappy dvd-drive that is found only in 1.6's (crystal xbox's might have been made before the drives were chosen, so you could alternatively get one of the best xbox dvd-drive).

i think most of y'all missed the point, hes talking to himself on a emssage board, and he is simpy terrible at it as well. I simply hate it when that happens. This guy wanted to know if the software would work, and the modchip and software bost will.
