I just got my hands on the latest MONEY crack. I can report that I still have to be logged in as a System Administrator, AND I still have to have the disc in the drive (or an ISO mounted with Daemon Tools). The latter issue is one that really disqualifies it from being a "crack", IMO. Or are CD cracks no longer doing that kind of thing?

Allright! I've read the whole f*ckin' thread, and I can say that I'm not wiser than before. I dont mean offense but i have a question:
So is there a working NOCD for The Sims 2, with the building and saving enabled?
I have that mini-image, but it doesnt work.
What's the name of that new money NOCD-fix? I have all the previous crack-wanna-bes, but i want a workin one.

The latest one from money is working fully (with build mode) so enjoy!!

No, it isn't. It's just broken in a different way.
