Hy folks,

I have send my mail to your address from Tiscali! I hope that you get it because some people need a NO-CD for the Game!

@siggy12:
I try to explain what I did in english so do not hurt me!

1. Make a Image of the game with Alcohol (Starforce3), DPM (1X)!
2. Open the *.mdf with a prog like UltraIso (I use) and delete all files in the directory! Than save it under the same name and ending!
3. Now you have the .mds file and the "patched" .mdf file!
4. mount the Image with Deamon 3.46 after you have disconnect the power of you DVD/CD-Rom Drives
5. have fun!!!

It function by: SOWWII, DDAY(ME!!!), Beyong Good&Evil, X² and some other Starforce 3 Games but not for DVD's I think (don't tested till yet)! Because you can not created a .mds file! I hear something that you can make a .mds file of DVD's with DVD Decrypter but I don't tested it yet! Can someone test this? When it's function than we have a solution for Starforce!!!

Hello,

I apologize in advance for this stupid question but I do not know how to disable optical drives via bios. Could someone describe the necessary steps to proceed ? I tried to disable in windows but it won´t work. It keep asking for a cd game in the drive.

Thanks

tonkar.

Hey tonkar,

Read again: "[...] disconnect the power [...]". Open the case of your PC and pull the power plug out of the drives. Crazy, isn't it?

thank you

but in other threads related to SHOWWII, some users have managed to disable their optical drives in the bios. Does that work on D DAy to ? I think it´s easier to do since you do not have to manipulate hardware each time you want to play the game ?

Hi tonkar,

Sorry, no idea! I don't have D-Day and I'm not willing to **** around with my PC, only because of some stupid copy protection anyway...
