Help getting Broadband ripping working - Xena or anyone?

I am using a CAT 5 cale which we use for network access at work (ethernet system using windows 98).

Could the problem be the set up of the dreamcast with the BB Passport disk, and if so, how can I ##### that. The light doesn;t come on on the network card, so it obvoiusly isn't detecting the broadband adapter - I will try taking my DC to work and plugging it into the network card there as I know that one is working fine.
