That registry thing was because you couldnt update without it, right??? because I had none problem to update, and I still had this repair bug, so it wouldnt be no use for me to uninstall and install again,right??? if I have this repair-bug, then I have it, and nothing I can do about it
 ..OR., would that registry thing help (concerning repair-bug)?????

You're right. The change in registry was needed to install the Update-Patch on my PC.
Don't know if this is the thing everyone need to "kill" the "Repair-Unit" - Bug. But, just look in your registry, which of the both variants you have and then try changing it. Give it just a try!
