To be sure, is the following true?
1 PS1 originals boot OK if you ignore the swap trick 2 The swap trick happens - you swap in the copy 3 It's the copy that fails to proceed further If all that's true, then likely the copy is wrong. What CD copier hw/sw are you using? Do you apply patches and if so how?
