http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdhacks.php?select=LG+5353 obviously if thats not your brand and model number change it lol they also have alot of helpful info there as well gl yes i can now play vcd and svcd on my dvd player thnx to that site and also mine is now region free i play all regions on my dvd player np gl Budmiester
