Civilization 3 Conquest's 1.12b No Cd

Use Daemon Tools to Emulate by mounting an image created in say Nero, or Alcohol, and then you can put the original game CD back safe and sound in the drawer until needed.
Not quite the same as what you are requesting, but hey it does work until the no CD key comes out.
Don't forget, this is a beta patch and it is Christmas, so the pros are not necessarily all over it just now.
