Just get a digital cassette player and feed line out from it to your line in of the sound card. Play the cd and use another utility to record it to the HD. Then use nero to burn the tracks back to a cd or whatever. the options are endless.
See, i thought that would be simple enough, I was prepared to use WinDAT to edit the silence off of the beginning and end of the track, however the output file's volume is sooo low. So quiet. Then when i tried it through the Mic line-in it's louder but the quality is worse. I bought the CD, I want to listen to these songs on my iPod, but I can't. Very annoyed - it's been keeping me up at night! Seriously!
