So you are able to create a GOOD image of the game on your hard drive correct? (no read errors or anything? )
What brand of cd-r's are you using? (You are using cd-r & not cd-rw?) Also, have you tried cleaning the laser in your burner with a cleaning disc? What speed are you trying to burn at? Trying to rule out all possibilities..... (Still may be your burner )
