problem
it sounds like your dvd rom is locked and program unable to gather info,,,try playin dvd for about 30seconds and try again,,,
i use dvdxcopy and xpress heaps and i havnt had any problems apart from it not wanting to read dvd but nothing a restart wont fix good luck
