Well try adding the no-cd crack again now and play for a couple of days - this is the real test.
When cracks are bad you usually know about it, you are rarely the only person with the problem. It's more likely a problem your end - maybe overheating, bad install, bad ram etc etc

So - make a backup of your original exe and put the no-cd back in again to see what happens.
