I take this to mean that the bios is 070, but not sure so here's everytning.
S023933 MX23L4800YC-10G 2002 SCEI D 119 050 M48 B 10 070 2G398800 That is everything written on the bios chip. It had occured to me to check out the v8 possibility but I got the PS2 in the US about 2 months ago, so it didn't seem likely, but I am from a small town where weird things happen.
