just an update
had some of the whitelabel 2x dvd-r lying around so I decided to try burning again. the only difference this time round is that I had upgraded my A04 firmware to 1.33. burned 1x booted np burned 2x booted np both on my v5 PAL, (will try v7 Magic2 at weekend) got 2 discs left so will try backing up 2 other random games, then if all ok get some more. at 69p per disc not bad alternative to Traxdata.
