New Burner SONY Plextor - Must Overburn-please help

Heya
im gonna buy meself a new burner
I have a SONY 140e yes its very old but nice
and its a very good burner i must say although 1 problem it dont overburn
now im thinking of buying the SONY burner 40-24-10 now does any1 know if that overburns?
also i might buy the plextor only if the SONy doesnt overburn since they so expensive
whihc plextor should i get and do they overburn
also i read on GCW that plextor has some probelms with overburning is this true and if so wat probs r they??
im talking ide drives not scsi
and if i shoudlnt go for them shoudld i go for the yamaha?
perosnaloy i dont trust yamah since i never had one
so please all copmments appreciated
post the burner i should get
any ones exmaple teac etc
ill be using the burner alot i think for everything reading sunchannel data in audio + data copy games music cds etc
