If cd-r music disks are not playing in your DVD player but are ok in a boom-box or other device, I'd say your DVD player isn't capable of reading cd-r media.
Some older DVD playeres just will not recognise cd-r discs, yet some old CD players will. Weird, eh? I am not sure whether or not you can get a firmware update for your DVD player, but as I have found it's often more expensive to upgrade a player than to buy a newer model. Sony can be very restrictive when it comes to people having fun with their equipment.. Hope this helps. All the best. |
