Clone cd, cdrwin and nero are the best softwares to use. The burner must be able to read and write RAW data in order to make a working backup. Since you didnt list what burner you have advise on it is hard to give but most of us use yamaha's, plextor's or lite-on burners that are 100% compatable with clone cd.
