CloneCD with a fully compatible reader/burner (RAW-DAO-96) will make 1:1 copies of the CD (except for the non-ECMA pre-grrove areas that contains proprietary Sony info read by the PS2 at boot time).
With CloneCD you need no patching afterwards. But you do need a modchip because no copuying program can get to the proprietary information in the pre-groove area.
