Will try what you said, and see how I get on. I can get the Traxdata Gold discs dirt cheap, and one of those "Poundland" shops we have here in the UK was selling Verbatim blanks for 50p each! ps I managed to backup some DC self-booters unsing the latest version of CloneCD. I burned them at 8x, having read them using RAW from my old Toshiba CD-ROM. HAppy burning.
