The question was!
The chip that is used for the mod is a PIC12C508. Is anything done with this chip to make it a mod chip for ps2 or simply buy one from a electronic shop and fit it. So even with a CDR backup game which has had a crack installed still needs the AR2 and dongle? Hope this helps Arakon. PiemaN
