vcd on dvd player

[GroundZero]

In the CDR section of the site it says that the Princo CD-R74 Gold is "Very compatible with CD/DVD-Readers which normally are very critical about CD-R's"
Now my problem and question is under what brand name can they be found and who sells them in the UK. I can't find much about them.
I want to send jpg's on CD (Made with CeQuadrat WinOnCD Power Edition to relatives with DVD players). I can view the discs fine on a CyberHome 512 but ordinary DVDs can't even load them.
Noticed Maplins selling spindle of 50 multicoloured Princo CDRs but don't think these are the same, anyone know any different?
