Packer - Probably possible but not recommended to write at full speed -- run risk of coasters with this protection.
I have XP so goto 'Start' then select run and type 'msconfig' (minus the quotes) in the box You will then get a box appear with all progs running and other info (win.ini, config.sys tabs etc) just select what progs to disable or enable ... be careful though in case you disable something Windows or another prog needs If you don't know what you are doing then might be best left alone (I accept no responsibility if anything goes wrong) Can't remember about other Win OS but probably much the same as above. Once again everyone thanks for your help
