CD reader compatible with CLoneCD?

Hi
Wondering if anyone can tell me how/where to check if my CD reader is good enough to use with Clone CD. Checked my writer from the links in GCworld and thats fine.

Problems arise when trying to read to image file (Medal of Honour in clonecd), I select fast error skipping and set it to Err Correction None, but when i start it off it reports (to the log) this isnt supported and sets it back to Hardware mode. and i get all the 'failed to read sector reports coming up.

it could be something else i did wrong of course...
