This is urgent, I can't back-up The Sims: Livin' Large and House Party

Hi, I really need to back-up the Sims: Livin' Large and house party before thisafternoon. The sims copied fine, it had safe disk so I did what I would usually do. Then Livin' Large said it had safedisk so i did the same and it didn't work. It copied but when i try to play it, it comes up with "please insert the correct cd" . When i scanned House Party for a protection, it came up with None or unknown, so first I just tried copying it, it didn't work. So then i checked up what to do if it was unknown. I did what it said and it copied but when its installing it gets to 77% then stops installing and just spins around in the cd-drive making that wiiirr ing sound. Could soemone please heklp me? (prefferably someone who had the same prob and found how to do it)
