Interpreting graphs
There is a total of three scenarios, and each one depicts how much compression you can obtain from any game.
NB: You can actually use your mouse wheel to zoom in if unable to click on points that are closely positioned together and use your right click to pan around. Scenario 1 Screenshot 2026-09-21 193528.png A game is not compressed at all and has no streams to be processed; this is indicated by the low hanging green line meaning those blocks are compressible and the blue bar barely visible means there are no streams. For such a game, you just use srep and lzma/lolz and call it day. Scenario 2 Screenshot 2026-09-21 194429.png A game is compressed and there are streams; this is indicated by very high green line and the blue bars. High green line means the blocks are not compressible and thus precompression is needed, and you're in luck because streams were detected in the same blocks. Scenario 3 Screenshot 2026-09-21 194928.png If you find yourself in this situation, just know that you are cooked if you don't know how to manually investigate game files because this just means two things, either the data is heavily compressed but using an unknown format or the data is encrypted and you need to find ways to decrypt the game. In this case, you have to do your own investigative work, this scan was taken from The Crew Motorfest which has .bfd and .toc format, do a simple google search "The Crew Motorfest bfd", and you might get lucky and find something like this and then from here, you can take a look around the source and you'll notice this meaning that the game is indeed encrypted, provide your findings on the compression method thread and hopefully someone will provide a working tool for that game in particular.
