This applies to AOE2: Conquerer too?

I want to backup AOE2 Conquerer...so do i need to follow the same method as AOE.

I think that AOE2 Conq. uses different CD protection (i dont have it, so i havent tried!). But I hear that at least CloneCD can do the job...
