Did all this and works fine here so no problems at all on my win 8.1 chrome
  Done conversion and works fine. took 4 hours exactly to do and about 50 mins to install of 5 dvd which it converted to and not 2 as in files Dvd 1: 4.36gb Dvd 2: 4.37gb Dvd 3: 4.37gb Dvd 4: 4.37gb Dvd 5: 1.40gb So all working fine as should do
