I was not complaining, merely passing a comment.
'Install this' - for want of a better phrase. Before the game installed there was no Securom on my system. After the game was installed Securom was on my system, as undeletable folders and undeletable registry entries. What would be a better term than Install ? Cowsheep. Do I detect a slight note of sarcasm ? Apologies if not, but if so, how does one know that the game is a 'securom game' before installation, by which time it is of course too late. I have no problems with securom being used (assuming that it does actually cut down on piracy, which from what I have read on the Internet does not appear to happen to any great extent, and that it does not adversely affect my system). What I object to is not being informed that it is to be 'installed', again for want of a better word, to my system. |
