I really need some help on how to load up an Xbox XBE file

I can't seem to get my XBE file to open in the Cxbx emulator. Do I need to burn the Iso file to a disc? I mean I really don't know how to figure this out. Like whenever I click on the XBE file to play my game, it doesn't load up at all. It just sits there! So please explain to me step-by-step on how to make this process work correctly. All right then?
