Yep, you have the correct patch, i used the PDX one with no probs and a cheap 25p disc, so your Kodak's shouldn't cause any trouble.
Use cdrwin or blind read at a slow speed. Try the disks in another machine and see if they work, i think you may need your PSX tweaking a little
