I don't think that makes a diff. seeing as the BreakerPro disc has a setting to choose between PAL & NTSC, at least mine does.

Are the versions you are trying to play NTSC ?

Anywho, i use DVD Decrypter (to both burn and rip) Cdrwin, CloneCD, heck, i've even used nero to burn back images and never really had any problem backing up PS1 game.

I know CloneCD will allow you to burn at 1X, 2X, 4X, 6X, ect.
I saw someone here saying how that is a bad program for diff. reasons, but i've never had a problem with it....

And i just use standard Verbatim 80min 700mb cdr's.
And i use a slim PS2 & my son uses a fat ps2.

Well, obviously it does make a difference cause i use a PAL console (fat) and PAL Breaker, and it doesnt work.
I tried alcohol, imgburn, nero always same result: after swapping in the disc (either NTSC or PAL i tried both) the disc starts to load, then it makes some noise like the laser is reseting in his sledge and the cd keeps spinning but no loading, it hangs at the "Booting CD..." screen.

And i can not burn lower than 8x casue my DVD Burner, doesnt support slower speed.
But i think if its just the Speed the CD would at least load, but run bad or sumthing.
I am using verbatim 700mb CDRs too so thats the same either.
Maybe NTSC Breaker just works better i have no clue, mine had many scratches when i got it tho, and i told my deliverer and they promised to send a new one, maybe i just have a bad Breaker Pro CD.
Another possibility is, that my laser is fucked up or dirty and just cant read them...but i have no difficulties playing my ps2 backups, which are DVDs tho.

Well, no idea, if you have any hints tell me, i think i will try the new breaker cd before opening my ps2 to clean the lense.
