Gears of War error

I have seen this problem talked about on a few other posts, but it has never been answered. When I start the game the gears of war picture thingy comes on the screen, I'm not sure what to call this thing, it only takes up a little bit of the screen and it has a picture of fenix and the Gears of War Logo, it's not actually into the game yet. Anyway, I get the error message that a lot of people have mentioned, it says "Wargame-g4wlive.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" Does anyone know why this happens, and what I can do to rectify the problem.
